Learner Legal Motorbikes
what is a good 600-650cc learner motorbike to get ? i dont want a massive bike just something nice n cheap?
i currently have a yamaha virago 250cc but i want a 600cc i was thinking a cbr600 but is that legal for learners
i was thinking maybe a gt650 hyosung or cbr600 or POSSIBLE a 650 ninja but they might be a bit pricey but then so are the cbr600’s there like nearly 15,000 in australia and the hyosung gt650 is about 6k with orc
The nighthawks are economical, but their handling and performance will leave you wanting, plus they hae nearly no wind protection.
Im Guessing (because you have a Virago) you want a cruiser? Look at the 97-02 Honda Magna, or the mid 90’s Kawasaki Eliminator 600. These are both light, sporty cruisers.
If you want a sporty bike, I would investigate the Kawasaki EX650R Ninja, The Suzuki SV650, The Yamaha YZF 600R, The Yamaha FZ6, and The Honda CBR600F. All are a little different, and have their own character.
