Street Legal Scooters

street legal scooters
Why are scooters street legal but ATVs are not?

I don’t understand why ATVs aren’t street legal in the US.
Four wheels are safer then two. Most ATVs go faster. Plus in some other countries there legal. Why are they legal there and not here? The only thing I can figure is that they don’t have turn signals but you can easily add them. I can see why 90cc ATVS aren’t legal but the bigger ones should be.
Ohhkk i can see that almost everyone that answered hates ATV’s, anyone have a better answer to give?

Yes, people have been arguing your question for ages bud, but personally I truly believe in what you said, you can easily add reverse, and turning signals and mirrors to your quad (some have reverse but im talking yfz wise), but then you also gotta remember you cant wheelie a harley or a scooter, yes you can a super bike but they’re hoping no ones that retarded. So yes we all could have ATVs on the road if there wasn’t retards who spoil it and do all these wheelies and stoppies and whatever else you wanna do on the road and not on there own property or on the track. Here’s some points that if you did want to make a petition in your state that you could use.

1. Four wheels are better than two. (Clearly!)

2. Clearly cheaper than most cars out there.

3. Most go 85 mph right out of the showroom. (Due to law they can not go faster than that out of showroom, Now you know why we have mods for our babies! Easily modded for faster use, faster than most cars!)

4. Way safer than a motorcycles that can turn over, and if you get hit on a motorcycle your gone, at least on a atv you have a pretty good chance of living if wearing proper gear.

Those four are just to name a few there are millions of reasons. But bottom line some states you can have ATVs and even certain city’s. You can just move to that state, remember no one said you had to live in that state and that’s probably what they’ll tell you.

Also to response to some of these answers,

1. Mrs. Jones won’t be able to use her phone legally anymore soon!

2. ATVs are safer retard its clearer than fuck!

3. You have a better chance of living if you crash your atv than you do your motorcycle.
